Simple File Hosting with 10GB Upload Size Limit

FileSavr is a simple service with a simple goal. That is to offer a simple file hosting and if you have a file as big as 10 Gigabytes to upload and share, you won’t have any problems with FileSavr. No registration is needed and you can upload right away as soon as you step on their homepage, although I see a sign up link in their homepage that displays a coming soon message when you click it.

Unlike the other sites, we do not force users to sign up for paid accounts to download files, we do not show long countdown timers, pop up ads, or any other spam related activities

This is a great alternative to file sharing sites such as RapidShare and other popular file hosting sites out there. They promise to keep your files until forever as long as they are being downloaded. I just have no idea on for how long they are going to keep your files if they have no download activity.

  1. That sounds quite cool. I’m currently searching for a possiblity to transfer some college football games without burning hundreds of dvds. I’ll give it a try.

  2. Hi Elliot, File SavR will only keep your files if it is being downloaded. If you are looking for a place to store your large files, Might I suggest using ADrive. It provides up to 50 Gigs of storage space and up to 2 Gig per upload. The upload size is not much but it sure has a large capacity per account. 🙂

  3. @Mozilla: yeah it’s a simple file host you have to upload using their homepage. Maybe in the future perhaps. I’ll try to find something as simple with remote upload. Thanks for suggesting that. 🙂
