This short tutorial will allow you to enable Aero Glass and all other Personalization features in Windows 7 Home Basic and Windows 7 Starter Edition and not actually transform your Starter and Home Basic edition to Ultimate.
If you own a netbook or any Windows 7 powered machine with Windows 7 Home Basic or Windows 7 Starter installed, then you know that there are quite a number of things that you can’t do with your operating system when it comes to customization/personalization. The Starter and Home Basic editions don’t have Aero Glass, Aero Snap, Flip 3D and other features. What pisses off most users who use the versions mentioned is that you don’t have the power to change the freaking wallpaper. Well, netbook users rejoice! There’s a way to enable the customization features in Windows 7 Home Basic and Starter Edition with just a click of a mouse button.
You can enable or activate the personalization feature of your Home Basic and Windows Starter by downloading a nifty little patcher called Personalization Panel. The small patcher automatically patches system files to enable all Windows Ultimate features.
Simply run the Personalization Panel exe file and reboot your system. Once your system starts again, you’ll have your personalization features activated just like in Windows 7 Ultimate Edition. Just to remember to save all your work before running the patcher, for it will automatically reboot your system without asking your first.
