This is a simple guide on how to make the most of your YouTube experience.
There are a couple of things to remember before proceeding.
- First, you need to have a decent internet connection. If you have a slow internet connection and still want to view YouTube videos in all its HD glory, then fire away.
- Second, you need to be logged in to your YouTube account. If you do not have a YouTube account, then it’s time to get one. This guide involves changing a couple of settings in your YouTube account.
Now, assuming that you have a decent connection and you are currently logged in your YouTube account, you can now begin with the settings. I’ve provided some images to guide you to the process.
The first thing that you need to do is to go to your YouTube account page.
The next step is to click the Playback Setup which is located on the left sidebar of your YouTube account settings. From there, you can select/tick the “Always choose the best option for me based on my player size.” And select the “Always play HD when switching to fullscreen (when available)” tick box.
In this settings page, you can also remove the captions and annotations if you do not wish to see them while playing YouTube Videos, especially when being mesmerized by the HD quality that you are watching.
After making the right settings, you can now always view YouTube videos in High Definition and greatly improve your viewing experience in YouTube.
