LocaFollow: Location and Bio Based Twitter User Search
LocaFollow is a Twitter app that allows you find local based Twitter users. What makes this different from other Twitter users search tools is that instead of just searching for the location, you can also search using the Twitter bio. It will further refine your search and give you better results if you are looking for people with similar interest as yours or someone who is involved in a particular field.
You can search users near your location or on a particular place by providing the Bio and the location of the user that you are looking for. Each search result provides you with Twitter information about the user. You’ll find the name and Twitter username, web address, bio, most recent tweet, and the follower/following stats. You’ll also be able to follow other users that appeared on your LocaFollow search results provided that you allow it to access your Twitter account. If you find the search tool useful, then it would be a good idea to let it access your account so you can instantly connect with other Twitter users that you find using the search.
LocaFollow is a great tool that can be used to easily locate and connect with people if you require a certain bio or location. If you’re looking for a blogger near your location, you can use the tool to easily find them. Since most bloggers are also Twitter users, there’s a high probability that you’ll find someone to connect with right away using LocaFollow.

Great post. I have been looking for enhanced tools a small business could use to monitor local conversations (via twitter) and possibly screen keywords relevant to their business. I will give this a couple of spins and see how it goes.
If anyone knows of other programs/apps that might make sense please send them my way via twitter @chrisbrashear .
Thanks!
