We recently featured a desktop tool (Max and Windows) called Excell Book that allows you to open Facebook at work and make it look like a spreadsheet. Well, here’s another option for you to check out if you don’t want your co-workers to notice that you’re opening your Facebook profile while working. The name of the app is HardlyWork.in.
What makes HardlyWork.in different from Excell Book is that it’s a web app. There’s no need to install anything or carry a portable version of the desktop app on your flash drive. Simply head over to the HardlyWork.in website and grant it access to your Facebook account to see the spreadsheet magic.
Hover to the photo links and you’ll see a thumbnail photo appear on the bottom right of your “spreadsheet.” Hover to comments and you’ll see the comments pop out. This is also true for likes.
Pressing the spacebar while logged in to HardlyWork will make it shift into a stealthier mode. It will display a page mimicking a daily cash flow excel sheet.

Migrating from Facebook to Google+? Creating an account on a new social networking site is so easy that your grandma can do it for you, so migrating from Facebook to Google+ won’t be a problem for anyone in terms of account creation. What’s hard is transferring the millions of photos that you managed to accumulate on your Facebook account over the years. Luckily for us who wants to give Google+ a shot, there’s a webapp that will help us transfer photos from Facebook to Picasa.
Move2Picasa is a tool that will help your Facebook to Google+ migration a breeze. Simply allow Move2Picasa access to your Facebook account to begin the transfer. The transfer rate will depend on the amount of photos stored in your Facebook account.
Reminder: Move2Picasa will transfer ALL your Facebook Photos. You won’t be able to make a selection of photos you want shared/transferred on Picasa.

Photosync is a very simple web app that lets you sync Facebook and Flickr photos. If you’re too lazy to upload photos to both Facebook and Flickr accounts, or can’t really decide where you want to upload first, simply give Photosync access to both accounts and you won’t have to worry anymore.
What the app does is that it constantly checks your Flickr account for new photo uploads. Any time you upload more photos to Flickr, they will automatically be copied over to Facebook within an hour. The service is free and you can start using it by clicking the link below.

Do you work in an office that prohibits using social networking sites such as Facebook? Having known that, do you still want to use Facebook at work and check friend’s updates without anyone knowing? The answer is very simple. All you need to do is to download and install Be Stupid at Work’s Excell Book. This nifty little application will make your Facebook look like a spreadsheet. You can fool your co-worker(s) or tyrant boss that you’re working on a spreadsheet when you’re actually checking out updates from last night’s party.
Excell Book works on both Mac and PC. You’ll also need to have Adobe Air installed in order for Excell Book to work.

Do you hate how Facebook look? Want to try minimalizing the pages in such a way that it would suit your preference? There’s an easy way to customize how you see Facebook through a Chrome plugin called MinFBook (Minimalist for Facebook). It is a personalized solution for those who are tired of useless and distracting elements in the Facebook interface. You can Individually hide almost 50 interface elements, custom colors, and more…
With MinFbook you can simplify Facebook without losing practicality. I’m a big fan of the minimal the web, But sometimes, when minimalism steps in, the practicality of a particular web product is diminished. By using the plugin, you can select which features will appear and which ones will stay hidden. It actually doesn’t automatically do all the work for you. You have to choose which ones will stay by editing the plugin settings. It removes as much or as little as you want. It also adds functionality if you so choose. Just remember that the plugin will only work on your browser, the Chrome browser in particular, and will only affect how you see Facebook. It doesn’t alter your Facebook account in any way. Your Facebook friends will still see your profile the same as everybody else see theirs.
