Pixify, an easy website design service for small businesses, have some tips on how to improve a website’s UI (user interface). One way that you can improve a website’s user interface is by using Google‘s new button designs that has been rolled out across many of their services since the launch of Google+.

Part of the design’s success is the new buttons. Great UIs tend to have simple, obvious buttons that are standard across the entire application. I have created Google-styled buttons that you can apply to your app’s UI.

MySocialButtons: Social Networking Site Button Resource

March 6th, 2009 | 3 Comments | Posted in Blog Tips, Design

mysocialbuttonsTired of the social networking buttons posted on your blog? Try something new and get a fresh set of social networking site buttons at MySocialButtons. They have a nice collection of buttons for you to choose from.

You can download different sizes and designs. My personal favorite is the hand drawn icon set contributed by Janko. All the buttons are free for you to use. Just remember to download them and host them somewhere else. Don’t just right click and copy the image location. Doing that means that you’re stealing bandwidth from the source website.
