Antrepo is a multi-disciplinary design consultancy whose latest project about simplicity really caught my attention. What they did was they tried to find alternate simple versions for some package samples of international brands.
We think almost every product needs some review for minimal feeling.
A2591 showcased three different versions for each product. Of course, there’s the original version to show us what a particular brand/product/packaging really looks like. Then there’s the simple version, a more simplistic attack on the product’s design. Lastly, and my favorite, a design version which practically strips everything away but the logo and the product itself.
Though this is just a design practice and not meant to be a product design proposal, it’s still great to see and recognize products in their minimal form.
