Photoshop: Add Realistic Tattoos on your Photos

October 11th, 2009 Posted in Design

This Photoshop video tutorial explains a technique on how to place a realistic looking tattoo on any image.

This method involves placing an Illustrator file (the tattoo source image) as a Smart Object, using the Free Transform/Warp Tool, adding a Gaussian Blur (to adjust the ‘Focus’) and then finishing it all off with a lighting effect created from a Channel Pull.

Make sure you also visit the written version of the tutorial from PSDTuts.
