@Nishadha: It's very useful for multiple blogs. I really find it hard to switch from blogger to blogger account asking me to log off my gmail accounts and log in again when I'm doing some template editing for my friends.

With regards to formatting, maybe you should check out WriteToMyBlog. It has awesome formatting tools which you might find useful.

I have used Scribefire but It's lack of formatting options is one reason I don't use it much. But if your are managing multiple blogs have to admit its a great way to do it.

Paul: I tested it in a blogger platform and it works great. I find it very easy editing previous posts, creating a new one and placing them in their proper categories.

Hawk: I would really prefer the latter (Scribefire). In fact I am actually using it. Takes me just one click to start writing a post. Since Scribefire is a Firefox plugin, it is limited to your computer only while WriteToMyBlog is also great if you are blogging away from your computer.

A Caleb: Firefox definitely rocks! The wide range of Add-ons to choose from certainly makes it the best browser there is. Scribfire is a great Add-on. Definitely worth it. Oh and You're welcome.

I am a recent convert to firefox (within the past few months), and I LOVE it!

I have not done any plugins for firefox or anything, but ScribeFire is one I will definitely try... thanks for the info!

Namaste,
A. Caleb Hartley

I find both of these choices you've written about rather interesting, but I am curious which one you prefer and why. I have self hosted WP blogs and although posting is rather easy, there are certain things I would like to be able to do that I just haven't found to be very self explanatory. I'm always out for trying new things, I'd just like to hear which you think is best, to save me the time, as you have already done the research!! ;)

I'll have to try ScribeFire as it looks really interesting. I visited their web site and noticed that they do support many platforms for blogs.

Since my blog is on Blogger I always have to lookup the supported platforms with regards to blog related software.

ScribeFire indicates that they support Blogger, which is great.
