Foonz: Free Group and Conference Calls

Foonz is an easy way to make a group call from any phone. The service is absolutely free. Only your normal phone use minutes apply and will not charge you a dime more for using it.

You get to send invites to your friends through IM messages, text messages or email. The group call can be scheduled to make sure everyone on the group is free to make the call. You can also use the service to leave messages to a group. The invited people will be sent with a message containing the number to call. When they call in, foonz will link you all together. You can even leave a message for anyone who couldn’t make the call and they will get a note from Foonz to dial in and get your message.

Can callers from outside the US use Foonz?

Yes. Anyone, anywhere can set up a foonz account, call the foonz number and start a group call. However, text message invitations to the group call only currently go out to mobile phones within the US.

Foonz Mute Modes
• Conversation mode — everyone in the group can hear everyone else
• Presentation mode — everyone in the group is muted except the owner
• QA mode — everyone in the group is muted except the owner. However, anyone can unmute and remute themselves by pressing 4.

Pho.to: Automatic Online Photo Enhancement Tools

Pho.to features different photo enhancement tools that you can use to automatically enhance photos online. They also have photo presentation such as photo web album, image hosting, photo 3D screen saver and photo 3D album.

Two of their photo enhancement services that you’ll find attractive are Makeup Photo and Enhance Photo. Makeup photo is an automatic online photo retouching tool. This is great for portrait photos. It will do the retouching for you. All you need to do is select the photo enhancement you want to be applied to your portrait photo. Enhance Photo, on the other hand is great for general digital photos that will make your photos look crisp in just one click. It will adjust the image color, brightness, remove digital noise and make a photo look sharper. This is pretty much like the features of some digital cameras that automatically make the adjustments for you.

ShareNLoad: Share and Download Large Files

ShareNLoad is another file host that lets you upload and download large files. The service can be used to send files that are too large for emails or as a temporary online/remote storage. Like any file storage service, you can upload any file type that you wish to share with someone.

The file host doesn’t really support mass sharing. You cannot search the site for uploaded files. The shared files can only be downloaded by someone who was given access by the uploader. The uploader of the file can set a password to protect the file from being downloaded by others. Once the file is accessed, the download page will be available to the downloader’s IP address for a few hours.

Deleting the uploaded file is as easy as accessing the delete link that is given to you when the file was uploaded. If in case you forgot to save the delete link, you can just wait for the file to expire and automatically deleted by ShareNLoad’s system. Premium user’s files are set to expire once their membership expires or after 60days from the last download
(whichever happens first).
